ADDITIONAL INFO: We have been closed for the holidays which will explain for the slow numbers on big fish. We did have some customers land some giants. Take Bo Boyd from Califorina who landed a 13.8-pound and a 14.4-pound largemouth bass. The 13 came on a Senko up close to the bank and the 14 came on a green pumpkin jig in the trees. The spawn is coming to an end and most of the post spawn fishing will be done deep in about 15-30 feet of water. Jigging the trees has really turned on these past couple of days with a big long trailer. Depending on the time of day, but a 5/8 ounce to a 1 ounce jig (in the afternoon) has been doing well. Steve Babbidge hooked an 11, 10, 9, and two 8-pounders on this method. Also plastic worms and lizards are still producing a lot of fish as well as big fish. The senko is pretty much coming to an end because the big spawned out fish are moving to deeper water. One can still catch a lot of numbers on the soft plastic jerkbaits but the big ones have moved, so make sure to bring down you bullet weights.
